The East Renfrewshire Climate Action Hub, based at The Community Hub, brings together residents, community groups, and organisations to enhance wellbeing and build a climate-resilient East Renfrewshire. Located within the scenic Rouken Glen Park, the Hub serves as a vibrant space for collaboration, learning, and taking action on the climate crisis.
About the role
Volunteers play a vital role in maintaining our grass areas and planters across the site, making it a welcoming and environmentally conscious place for all.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Light gardening duties such as weeding, planting, pruning, and watering
Supporting seasonal planting plans and plant care
Litter picking and keeping paths and garden areas tidy
For those able and interested: heavier tasks like digging, shifting compost or soil, moving garden waste, and general clearing
