About us
The East Renfrewshire Climate Action Hub, based at The Community Hub, brings together residents, community groups, and organisations to enhance wellbeing and build a climate-resilient East Renfrewshire. Located within the scenic Rouken Glen Park, the Hub serves as a vibrant space for collaboration, learning, and taking action on the climate crisis.
About the role
Join our Chat & Plant Garden Team and help create and care for beautiful green spaces that support sustainability, biodiversity and food growing.
Our volunteers play a vital role in maintaining grass areas, planters, and growing spaces across the site, helping to make it a welcoming and environmentally conscious place for all.
As part of the team, volunteers are involved in planning, planting, and looking after a wide variety of plants in our greenhouse and polytunnels. From sowing seeds to nurturing plants as they grow, there are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and get hands-on experience in gardening.
Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just starting, you’ll be part of a friendly group working together to grow plants, support wildlife, and create a thriving community space.
