Bonnyton Care Home is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist residents in maintaining and enjoying the raised beds and potted plants on the care home grounds. This opportunity is perfect for individuals who love gardening, have patience, and wish to positively impact the well-being of older adults.
Volunteers will assist residents in light gardening activities, such as planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting in raised beds and pots, and encourage our residents to engage with gardening tasks according to their abilities and interests.
This volunteer role will require a PVG check.
About us:
Bonnyton House offers care and support for up to 34 older individuals with physical and cognitive impairments. The service is provided by East Renfrewshire Council and is conveniently close to local amenities and transport links.
The primary aim of the service is to provide residential care to older people, enhancing their quality of life.
