Creating Opportunities and Reconnecting Young People through Volunteering
Our youth-led programme supports young people to overcome personal barriers, grow in confidence, find meaningful opportunities to participate and develop lasting connections within their community.
The programme is open to young people living in East Renfrewshire (aged 12-25) who may face multiple barriers to secure or retain a volunteering role or to reconnect with their community.
A bespoke support to build young people’s confidence to take on a volunteering role and build connections within their community.

Working with others to provide a range of youth friendly individual and group opportunities for young people to be able to ‘test’ volunteering together with their peers.

Young Persons Network
The network brings together groups and organisations who can provide local young people with access to meaningful, inclusive and accessible opportunities to reconnect and engage with their community.

Our team support groups and organisations in East Renfrewshire to create youth friendly opportunities for young people to reconnect, get involved and contribute to their communities. Youth Advisory Group
Made up of local Young People, the Youth Advisory Group work closely with our Youth Team and Young Person’s Network to ensure the programme continue to meet the needs of young people.
All young people supported by our program will be encouraged to become members or associates of the Youth Advisory Group. This involvement provides various opportunities to share their unique perspectives and actively participate in the community.
