An Age Concern Eastwood mini-bus picks up the members from the village and takes them home at the end of the day. Lunch, tea, and coffee are provided for a small fee. In the morning members usually chat and play scrabble, cards, or dominoes. After lunch, there are organised activities or speakers – for example, Illustrated travel talks, games, crafts, entertainers, and visits from the local school pupils. The group also goes on outings to the coast, garden centres, or places of interest and have an annual Christmas party.
