ESOL Volunteer- English Conversation Group

We’re looking for kind, patient, and non-judgmental volunteers to help run a weekly 1-hour conversation session at the Barrhead Centre. ESOL experience is preferred but not essential; what matters most is a welcoming attitude and a willingness to encourage conversation.
This role is a great opportunity to develop communication and facilitation skills while making a real difference to people’s lives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Welcome participants and help them feel comfortable
• Starting and guiding friendly group conversations
• Encouraging everyone to take part and share
• Helping create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment
