AbilityNet is a pioneering UK charity with a global perspective. They believe the power of digital technology should be available to everyone, regardless of ability or age. Their free online resources and a network of over 300 community-based volunteers help individuals with any disability, of any age, to use all kinds of digital technology.
What will I be doing as volunteer?
- Upon a referral via AbilityNet contacting clients to arrange a date/time to support.
- Carrying out IT support to the clients.
- Feeding back on progress via our online system.
- Opportunities to support your local Coordinator with promoting the volunteer service in the local area, for example leaflet dropping or displaying some posters in your local area.
