Description

Improving the appearance of Eaglesham village and encouraging community spirit. Volunteers welcome! We are a group of local volunteers aiming to improve the appearance of the village environment. What has the group done so far? Well, quite a lot, but what you are most likely to have noticed us doing is putting the black planters around the village and filling them with plants, which we did in September. The planters were donated by the council and we scrubbed them up and repainted them. We have also done a few weeding and tidy up days around the village, in particular around the bus stops. We have plans for more improvements including hedge planting, new trees and spring bulbs but we need more volunteers to help us do it all! If you think you can help or are just interested in finding out more please send us a message.
