About the Activity (What It Is and What It’s Like)

Our public living room is an opportunity for anyone over 16 to come along and socialise with others over board games, card games, arts/crafts or even just have a chat over a cup of tea.
These are really informal and relaxed sessions and people can pick and chose what they get involved in. No previous experience or skills are required. Just come along and join in!

The activity is free. Tea/coffee will be provided or you can also bring your own drink/snack along too.

Monthly (second Tuesday of every month). Our first session will be on Tues 7th July 2026

About the venue

When you come into the centre, please ask for the community hub and let staff know that you are there for the Public Living Room.
Staff will then take you to that part of the centre and you will be introduced to everyone.
The centre is directly across from Barrhead Train Station and the centre is fully accessible.

What to expect at the first meeting

You are more than welcome to bring a friend/supporter along with you.
When you arrive at the centre, just let us know you are there for the public living room and we will take you over to the area where the public living room is taking place.

You do not need to bring anything with you. You can bring a drink/snack along with you if you wish.
