Older People's Project (OPP) East Renfrewshire Citizens Advice Bureau

The main aim of the project is to encourage and support older people within East Renfrewshire to claim benefits that they may be entitled to. With rising utility bills and lower pensions, more and more people are forced into making sacrifices for the sake of their finances.

However, there are some helpful benefits which are available for pensioners and older people. These include Pension Credit, Council Tax reduction and Attendance Allowance.

The OPP adviser, Sarah can carry out a free benefit check and can also give advice on State Pension issues and help with Blue Badges and Concessionary Travel.
