Next Steps East Renfrewshire: Employability Programme

Next Steps is a personalised support service for young people (16-24) with additional support needs or a disability within East Renfrewshire, offering support to remove personal and vocational barriers and help to achieve a Qualification, Employment, Modern Apprenticeships or Further Education/Training.

Young People taking part, will be offered:
• Employability support – developing interpersonal skills, building a CV, job searching and practicing for interviews
• Interventions to address vocational and personal barriers to employment
• Group sessions and 1:1 support available
• Opportunity to complete an SQA qualification (Employability Award)
• Work experience and work tasters opportunities in local area
• Support into employment/further education or training.
