Mellow Velo - Bike Maintenance Volunteer

Mellow Velo is a unique cycling and repair project staffed by adults who attend the Barrhead Centre and is supported by our volunteers. Volunteers will participate in the operation of the hub by supporting the team with essential repairs and maintenance of donated bicycles. Volunteer tasks include the following
Perform bike maintenance tasks, including changing cables, replacing inner tubes, and inflating tyres.
• Conduct bike health checks and complete bike health check forms.
• Dismantle and scrap bicycles when necessary.
• Carry out general cleaning duties.
• Support the team at community events.
Volunteers will receive full training from staff and volunteer coordinator.
