About the Activity (What It Is and What It’s Like)

At MEHTG, we firmly believe that we haven't inherited the planet from our ancestors. We have instead, borrowed it from the next generation. At MEHTG we want everyone including young people to be the drivers of real impact and change. Therefore we want to organise an event that builds awareness, increase knowledge; resulting in real, tangible actions that will help the environment. We are planning to organise a youth focused event that will cover three aspects:

*Inspire: invite a guest speaker with experience in the field of climate action and caring for the environment. The speaker will deliver a lecture or a talk to the audience, this includes young adults.

*Innovate: The event is like famous television show Dragons Den. The event invites young adults to present their ideas about eco-friendly initiatives that can improve sustainability in the local community.

*Learn: An eco-quiz is organised. This enables young adults to participates in healthy competitive environment. This increases their knowledge of the environment and sustainable choices.

Green Consumer Day is observed on 28th September annually. We plan to organise this event on 3rd October 2026. It is aimed at promoting eco friendly habits like recycling, reducing consumption and reusing.
