Gardening Volunteer - Garden Tidy Team

The Garden Tidy Team consists of adults and young people with additional support needs who attend both day centres in Barrhead and Thornliebank. The team is responsible for maintaining the grounds at both centres, which includes tidying and weeding raised beds, planting flower and vegetable seeds, and replanting in the ground. Volunteers will work closely with the Garden Tidy Team to support the maintenance of the outdoor spaces at each centre. While an understanding of garden maintenance, planting, and woodwork would be beneficial, it is not essential, as full training will be provided by the centre staff.
