Description

"Beat the Street" is a  fun, free game for the communities of Bridge of Weir, Howwood, Kilbarchan, Lochwinnoch, Houston, Linwood, Elderslie and Johnstone from 10th September to 22nd October. The game works through "Beat Boxes" being erected on lamp posts all around the towns and villages. Participants are issued with credit card style cards and as you go on a journey through walking, wheeling, scooting, cycling or public transport you swipe your card to earn points for you and your team. There is  a competition/leaderboard for community teams such as nurseries and staff/business teams with prizes to be won over the 6 week competition such as Decathlon Vouchers, Scotia Books Vouchers or Love Local tokens.

Location

Houston, Kilbarchan, Bridge of Weir, Linwood, Elderslie, Johnstone, Howwood and Lochwinnoch.
