The Community Climate Action hubs are a national initiative in line with the Scottish Government that empowers local people to take climate action and build resilient communities for the future.
What does community action mean to you?
The East Renfrewshire Climate Action Hub aims to encourage community groups, organisations, and individuals to engage in actions and activities that support nature, sustainability, and community well-being.
The Hub’s aims are:
- Raise awareness about the climate emergency and the initiatives that local groups can undertake
- Support groups in developing climate action projects
- Help access funding for climate-related projects
- Promote networking
- Ensure a coordinated effort in addressing climate change
