About us
We aim to engage with and support the development of the local community through the provision of activities and services which meet the needs of the community and are underpinned and motivated by the love of Christ and the Christian Faith.
About the role
• To assist the YCW to run the Sunday Youth Club for S1-6 located in the church premises
• To engage with the young people who attend, ensuring they feel welcome and are able to participate in the activities provided
• To assist the YCW with the activities which may include board games, small group discussion, watching videos and other age-appropriate activities
• To share responsibility for the safety and security of the young people who attend while they are in the premises
• To work alongside other members of the Youth Work Team and share in the debriefing discussion and decision-making about how the project’s development
• To undertake training as may be required for volunteers and attend supervision and support sessions
Sessions run on Sunday evenings 7.00-8.30pm weekly during school term time.
