About the role

Do you love the buzz of events and want to support a good cause? We’re looking for Event Support Volunteers to help the Erskine team at our Charity Stand as well as with bucket collections at the Ideal Home Show Scotland 2026, SEC Glasgow. We are looking for individuals with a friendly, outgoing personality - no previous experience is required, as full training and support will be provided on your shift arrival. Erskine are proud to be the Charity Partner for the Ideal Home Show Scotland for 2026.

You can choose to volunteer for a 2-3 hour session or longer between 9am and 5pm on any of the show days: Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd, Sunday 24th, or Monday 25th May. We are looking for 200+ volunteers over the course of the weekend, 18+ adult volunteers.

The role will include welcoming visitors, assisting with registrations, supporting event logistics, helping our stand run smoothly, as well as bucket collections. It’s a wonderful way to make a difference, meet fellow supporters, and celebrate our 110th anniversary.
