The Market Place
The Market Place, based in Newton Mearns, is a community space, café and shop used by local people, community groups and organisations.
As well as a comfortable space to read a book, have a blether or get involved, The Market Place offer support to community groups and activities, local information, and an opportunity for people to shape the services around them.
Supporting local enterprise is an important part to what we do, providing an opportunity for local entrepreneurs to display and sell their products.

If you’re looking for information and advice on anything related to your or someone else’s wellbeing, you can now visit The Market Place for an informal and confidential chat. No matter what you need, our team will either help you directly or get you to the right support that can. No need to make an appointment, just pop along Monday to Friday, between 10am-3pm.
Use our Space
Our relaxed and friendly environment is ideal for groups, meet-ups and workshops, providing a space for small groups and individuals to test and grow ideas without the worry of high venue costs.
The Market Place also offers practitioners a place to connect and work with the local community, hosting information sessions, drop-ins and other types of engagement work.

The Market Place couldn’t do the fantastic work it does without our wonderful volunteers.
We offer volunteering opportunities for all abilities, valuing every person’s unique skills and encouraging them to develop and grow with us.
From helping in our cafe, running a group or simply sorting through donations, there is something to suit everyone.
